She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David W. Scott and Olea Bridges Scott; her spouse James E. Roper; her siblings, Delbert Scott and Davie Dulaney; her son James D. Roper (Becky) of Temple; her grandsons, David Roper (Jennifer) of Stephenville and Jeffrey Roper (Heather) of Cuero; and her siblings, Alton Scott of Oklahoma City and Billie Blackburn of Temple.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Miller Heights Baptist Church.
