She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeronimo Avila and Maria Trinidad Reyes; her husband Froylan Tapia; and her son Jesus Tapia. She is survived by: her children, Francisco Tapia, Maria Elena Espinoza, Maria Eufemia Ruiz, Maria Trinidad Tapia, Evangelina Holcomb, Lilia Tapia and Raquel Castillo. She is also survived by ten brothers; one sister; 21 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
