She was predeceased by: her parents, Bisente Gonzales and Paula Serna Gonzales. She is survived by: her husband Billy Larry Shelton; her children, Joe Zapata, Corina Maya, April Cole, Lucia Zapata, Rachel Ridgeway, Elizabeth Cramer, Theresa Castillo and Donna Shelton; and her siblings, Faustino Gonzales, Louisa Salas, Virginia Heritage and Udencia Villarreal. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
