He was predeceased by: his mother Zelma Glazener (Shug); his sister Bobbie Ruth Handle; and his nephew Fred Allen Rush. He is survived by: his siblings, Alton Don Reed (Samulyn) of Belton, Billie Fay Ross of Temple and Dianne Roberts (Mike) of Commerce. He is also survived by three nieces; seven nephews; seventeen great-nieces; and twelve great-nephews.
