She was predeceased by: her parents, William D. Erskine and Itha M. Erskine (Tarter); her husband Fred Mingst; her brothers, William P. Erskine, Frank Erskine and Travis Erskine; her son-in-law Mike Berry; and her grandson Robert Matthew Mingst.

She is survived by: her children, Lynne Berry, Fred Mingst (Shirley) and Frank Mingst (Rita); her grandchildren, Randy Berry (Stacy), Michael Mingst (Daynette), Michele Gilmore (Scott), Theresa McNutt, Donna Gray (Gary) and Franklin Mingst II; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Cope, J. D. Berry, Krista Berry, Gage Mingst, Lakyn Mingst, Brooke Gilmore, Travis Gilmore, Robert Martinez, Jesse Martinez, Ashley Trevino and Briana Gray. She is also survived by her three children and then being the greatest grandmother her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
