It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joy Trahan of Belton, Texas, born in Ville Platte, Louisiana, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Jordan and Ruby Jordan; her husband Rogers Trahan; her brother LeVern Jordan; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Trahan and James Kennedy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Gillenwaters (Jeff) of Belton, Texas, Jeannette Bell (Tim) of Bay City and Anita Barber (Sam) of Brazoria, TX.; her sister Mavis Kennedy of Longville, LA.; her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Trahan (Vivian) and Barbara Jordan of Michigan; her grandchildren, Amber Fletcher, Tasha, Tina Israel, Mathew, Taylor Bell, Hope Swanner (Jerry) and April Head (Dusty); and her great grandchildren, Kinsley Lavery, Jaidyn, Jordyn Swanner, Alan, J. R. and Destiny Head.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Rogers Trahan.
