She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shafer and Ruth Shafer (Capps); her husband Joe Mack Tabor; and her siblings, James Shafer, H. E. Shafer, Wesley Shafer, Eugene Shafer, Bud Shafer, Carolyn Shafer, Betty Shafer, Stella Thomas, Kathleen Brooks, Nelly Little, Pam Shafer and Sealy Coats.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Young of Rockdale, Charlotte Tabor of Cameron and Karen Johnson of Belton. She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren 2 Great-Grandchildren Numerous nieces & nephews.
