She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jane Knibbe and Charles Farris; her daughter Vicky Snyder (Greg) of Belton; her grandchildren, Monica Pigg, Jennifer Weaver and Austin Snyder; her nieces, Peggy Porter and Janie Rivers; her nephew Ron Farris; her cousin Allen Leistikow; her friends, Dr. Jane Knapik, Allene Mandry and Darlene Johnson; her husband Bill Goodell; her daughter Joan Howell (Lynn); and her grandson Billy Pigg. She was also cherished by seven great grandchildren.
