He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard M. Daniels and Jewel Daniels; his wife Margaret Daniels; his sister Bobbi Garth; and his grandson Michael Lockett.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Daniels of Fort Worth and Teresa Lockett (Michael) of Belton; and his grandchildren, Kazandre Daniels, Dominic Daniels, Jazzlynn Daniels and Evan Lockett. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
