He is survived by: his wife Geneva Luna Bruce of Belton; his children, Forrest "Junior" Dwight Bruce Jr. of Temple, Thomas N. Bruce of Temple, Tony Avila of Temple, J. D. Black of Belton and Juanita Salazar of Belton; and his siblings, Billy Bruce, Richard Bruce, Tommy Bruce, Hugh Bruce, Johnny Bruce, Timmy Bruce, Dale Baldwin, Pat Henry, Betty Bruce, Grace Wilson and Rose Ornsby. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, and his fourteen great grandchildren.
