He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cleveland Rape, Sr. and Ida Lou Jones; and his siblings, Charles Rape, Joe Lee Rape, Neal Rape, Dallas Rape, Dean Rappe and Vivian Rape Turnage.
He is survived by: his wife Laquata "Kay" Rape (Burgan) of Belton; his children, Dillard Coleman Rape, Jr. (Ginger Marie Johnson) of Spokane, Washington and Dee Celia Reed (Monte) of Temple, Texas; his sister-in-law Jo Rappe; and his grandchildren, Kaydee Reed, Kelsey Reed, Dillon Reed, Levi Johnson and Luke Johnson.
