He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob D. Burris and Ruby Holt Burris; his wife Linda; and his siblings, Leona Thumann, Elvin Burris, Harold Burris and Joe Billy Burris.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Conn (Roy) of Belton, TX and Christopher Burris (Jenny) of Baytown, TX; his siblings, Gail Campbell, Troy Burris, Ron Burris and Jacob Larry Burris; his grandchildren, Katelyn Bentley, Lauren Blake, Calli Gibson, Brandy Davis, Avery Burris, Camden Shook, Anthony Rodriguez, Jonathan Rodriguez, Riley Conn and Peyten Wilkinson (Dustin); and his great grandchildren, Blaire Rodrigues, Brantley Gibson, Kannon Gibson, Gunner Gibson, Eli Wilkinson and Kaysen Wilkinson.
