He was predeceased by: his parents, G. W. Elkins and Georgette Elkins (Vanier); his stepmother Frances Elkins; and his brother Donnie Elkins. He is survived by: his daughter Samantha DeVore of California; and his brother Louis Elkins of Morgans Point. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
