He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Pruitt and Jasper Pruitt; and his son Daniel Ray Pruitt Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Joe Pruitt (Kara Thorne) of Belton, Floyd Christian Pruitt of Belton and Raydean Golding (Bobby Golding) of Belton; his siblings, Howard Pruitt of New Mexico, J. D. Pruitt of Burnet, Mary Pruitt of Temple and Barbara Pruitt of Austin; and his grandchildren, Bobby Golding (Caitlyn Waters), Billy Golding (Makenna), Cody Pruitt (Hailey Mapes), Mason Pruitt and Hunter Pruitt.
