He is survived by: his wife Santa Salazar of Belton; his children, Alex Salazar (Liz) of Temple, Isaac Salazar (Samantha) of Belton and Veronica Gutierrez (William) of Belton; his siblings, Hector Salazar of Corpus Christi, Juan Salazar of Robstown, Mary Lou Vela of Corpus Christi and Leonarda Salazar-Rangel of Robstown; and his grandchildren, Faith Martinez, Eric Gutierrez, Gabriella Gutierrez, Daniella Gutierrez, Isaac Gonzalez, Caleb Salazar and Sophia Salazar.
