He was predeceased by: his parents, Katrina Jackson (Lyth) and Abner E. Jackson; his wife Jeanette Mewis; his brother A. E.; his sister-in-law Dainty Jackson; his sister Kathryn; and his siblings-in-law, Burnice Gaines, Billy Mewis, Bubba and Janie Mewis.
He is survived by: his aunts, Maggie and Edna Lyth; his friend Alton Haverlah; his father-in-law C. A. Mewis; his children, Stanley (Belinda Jackson), Sherrie Hoppe (Doll), Steven (Lori Jackson) and Suzanne (Greg Braun); his grandchildren, Shawn (Wendy Jackson), Brent Jackson, Kirk (Angela Hoppe), Grant, Kelsi Jackson, Mallory (Danny Ferreira), Jenna Jackson, Bethany (Johnny Ellis), Sarah (Trey Supak), Brittney Johnson and Briana (Lance Larson); his children-in-law, Frankie Hoppe and Elois Jackson; and his caregivers, Maria, Sonja, Griselda and Juan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (520 N Holland St, Bellville, TX 77418). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the 1861 Pilgrims Rest Cemetery (1861 Pilgrims Rest Rd, Bellville, TX 77418).
