He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Wendt and Marie Seyer Wendt; his wife Dolores Wendt; his granddaughter Laura Wendt; his son-in-law B. C. Ollero; his siblings, Kenneth "Pete" Wendt, Wilbert "Boop" Wendt, Ralph Wendt, Harold Wendt and Edith "Mousie"; his grandmother Krueger; and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Wendt, Flora Wendt, Helen Wendt, Elizabeth Wendt, Clarence Krueger and Edward Himly.
He is survived by: his children, Louise Foreman, Connie Ollero, Leslie Wendt, Cynthia Sykora (George), Roy Wendt (Shirley) and Annette "Lucy" Landry (Russell); his brother Clarence Wendt; and his friend Charles Worst. He is also survived by his grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
