She was predeceased by : her parents, Helen Mae Slama Zander and Fred Zander (Jim Harden); her son Johnny Harden; and her grandson Joshua Harden. She is survived by : her husband James Thomas Harden; her sister Carole Tarwater (Mel) of Bellville, Her; her children, Jimmy Harden (Donna) of Porter, Jeannie Smith (Dave) of Huntsville and Janice Santos of Bellville; and her grandchildren, Micah Harden (Tricia), Glenn Harden (Gina), James Harden (Patty), Sarah Santos, Jennifer Novak (John), Rachel White (Ronald) and Mikayla Hilderbrand (Corey).
