He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Pearl Collins Farmer and Miguel Sanchez; his stepfather Dr. Farmer; his wife Elizabeth Williams Sanchez (Bette); and his sister Dolores Harpold.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Sanchez (Dorothea), Susan Sanchez-Hatchett (Bill) and Leah Sanchez Cessna (David); and his grandchildren, Michael Sanchez, Christina Sanchez, Joshua Noble (Kristi), Michela Noble Waldner (Cameron), Paul Cessna, Reed Cessna, Jared Hatchett (Amy) and Joshua Hatchett. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and a niece.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting any memorials be made to Shriner's Hospital or the Houston Grand Opera.
