She was predeceased by: her parents, William, Jr. Waak and Emma Grawunder Waak; her son-in-law Dalton Sherrill; and her siblings, Conway Waak and Ruby Koehn.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Sherrill; her grandchildren, Steven Sherrill, Garrett Sherrill (Raquel) and Julie Sherrill; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Carroll and Laura Telford.
