Flora Winn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flora Winn of Bellville, Texas, who passed away on August 29, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. E. Mewis and Martha Mewis; her husband E. H. Winn; and her siblings, Lenora McGowan, Nonie Engelking, Hazel Prause, Florence Brosig, Jessie Mewis of Leon Mewis, C. A, Monroe Mewis and Roy Mewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judith Winn (Hancock) and Judy (Robert Hancock); her granddaughter Allyson (Cody James); her sister Katie Huebner; her sister-in-law Mary Mewis; and her friend Gladys Lueckemeyer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was also recognized as a distinguished member of the American Cancer Society, the Austin County Cancer Society's Most Deserving Volunteer, and received many honors each year for her involvement with Relay for Life teams.
