He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Krenek and Mary Hajek Krenek; his parents-in-law, Robert and Bertha Schulz; his siblings, Clement Krenek and Joyce; his siblings-in-law, Franklin Susen, Theodore, Lorene Hahn, Raymond and Esther Klump; and his nephews, Jerry and Carl Edward Klump.

He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Schulz Krenek; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Gutierrez (David), Bobbie Perez (John), Rosemary Knebel (Gary), Samuel Susen (Gina) and Franklin Mark Susen. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (520 N Holland St, Bellville, TX 77418). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Prairie Lea Cemetery (1004 Prairie Lea St, Brenham, TX 77833).
