He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Sr. Schroeder and Leona Schroeder; and his granddaughter Samantha Quesada. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Schroeder; his children, John Erick Schroeder (Terri), Zachary, Christopher Schroeder, Dawn Quesada (Albert), Pamela Quesada, Scarlett Rose Longoria, Wendi Schroeder, Joshua Schroeder and Benjamin Jones; his stepson Jason Lewis (Melanie); his children, Madison and Connor Lewis; his stepson Eric Lewis; his daughter Erisiya Lewis; his stepdaughter Ashley Lewis (Crispin Torres); his daughter Reese Torres; and his sister Carolyn Laskoski (David).
