With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Paul Weiss (Bellville, Texas), born in Brenham, Texas, who passed away on May 21, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aline Weiss (Ziegenbein) and Delmus Weiss; and his siblings, James Earl and Judy Haevischer. He is survived by: his children, Bridget Nicole and Lance Douglas; his wife Melissa Stewart Weiss; his children-in-law, Matthew Bolten of Bellville and Taylor Weiss of Brenham; his grandchildren, Emery Molder, Lia Weiss of Brenham and Bailey Bolten of Bellville; his brother-in-law Gary Haevischer (Betty) of Brenham; his niece Shae Westerfeld (Chad) of Brenham; and his great-nieces, Morgan and Addison Westerfeld. He is also survived by numerous cousins, along with a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting people make a donation to the Bellville Volunteer Fire Department, Bellville Little League Association, or to the charity of your choice.
