She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Harley Cessna; her fathers, Kresge and Woolworth; her sons, Stephen T. Cessna (Karen) of Lansing, Michigan, John D. Cessna (Susan) of Fulshear, Texas and David W. Cessna (Leah) of Cat Spring, Texas; her grandchildren, Dawn Main, Sara Weir (Todd), Stephanie Mueller (Alex), John S. Cessna (Kate), Paul and Reed Cessna; and her great grandchildren, Gretchen Weir, Caroline Cessna, Emma Mueller and Luke Mueller.
In 2003 at age 75, Donna was recognized as Woman of the Year by the Longview Federated Clubs as an outstanding individual who made significant contributions to the community.
