He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis May and Marie May (Davis). He is survived by: his spouse Pat May (Bomar); and his grandsons, Chandler Windham and Charlie May of Round Rock. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces.
