She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gustafson and Lucille Gustafson of Far Rockaway; and her brother William "Bill" Gustafson. She is survived by: her husband Ernie Koy; her sister Marjorie (Earl); her children, Robert (Barbie), Andy (Jay), Lucy (Mike) and Jess (Katie); and her grandson Andrew Jr..
