Wesley Ray Houston Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Ray Houston of Bells, Texas, born in San Bernardino, California, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Greer Houston and Geneva Foy Houston (Washburn); his daughter Cynthia Schneider (Houston); and his sister Billie Davis (Houston). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Houston (McCrary); his daughters, Donna Crook (Darrell) and Jania Schneider (Phillip); and his grandchildren, Lisa Medford (Steven), Justin Schneider (Hannah), Crystal Holcomb (Duane), Jermery Schneider (Amber), Toni Crook, Jennifer Phillips (Devon) and Dustin Crook (Lindy). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many friends and extended family.
He was also a Director and Treasurer of the Texoma Quarter Horse Association and a founding member and Director of the Texas Quarter Horse Association Foundation and associate of the National Quarter Horse Association.
