He was predeceased by: his parents, William Garretson and Merl Garretson (Reeves); and his brother-in-law Henry W. Holly, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Rita Garretson; his daughters, Shelly Johnson (Rick), Cassie Simpson (Roy), Rhonda Bowen (Bobby), Becky Breaux (Jeremy), Jill Baker (Mitchell) and Misti Mace; and his sister Mary Holly. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
