He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Ellen Johnson; his sisters, Sherry Sibley and Bonnie Koger; and his daughter Kristi Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela Johnson; his children, Bobby Johnson (Londa), Jami Stephens (William) and Brook Johnson (Michelle); his sister Janice Hahn; his grandchildren, Kelby Johnson, Houston Johnson, Cody Johnson, Tarryn Fabian, Koy Johnson, Cloey Johnson, Karsten Fabian, Mayne Fowler, Will Stephens, Alivia Stephens and Owen Stephens; and his great grandchild Maddux Johnson.
