Jeffery Glen Ballard Obituary
Jeffery Glen Ballard, 69, of Bellmead, Texas departed this world Friday May 5th 2024 surrounded by family. Services will be Monday May 13th at 10:00am at Bellmead Funeral Home. He was born August 26th 1954 to Bea and Gene Ballard in Portland, Oregon. He attended La Vega schools before studying at TSTC and San Jacinto College and going to work building fences in the Waco area for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Sue and his four daughters Cristal Hilliard of Plano, Nicole Cardenas of Lorena, Lyndsay Tadlock and husband Michael of Montgomery, and Jessica Devorsky and husband Michael of Waco. Jeff was a doting grandfather to his grandchildren, Alyssa Cardenas, Braden Gyorko and wife Scarlett, Johnathan Cardenas, Caitlyn Hilliard, Emma Tadlock, Jeffery Cardenas, Max Devorsky, Lilly Devorsky, and Ben Devorsky, and great-granddaughter Daphne Jane Gyorko.
He took delight in spending time with his many nieces and nephews and enjoyed going to casinos, watching the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys, riding on his motorcycle with Sue, or taking her dancing.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Benny Ballard, Linda McAdams, Gail Winklemann, Russell Ballard, Jimmy Ballard, and Becky Cox. He is also survived by his siblings Pat McAdams, Nancy Strickland, Timmy Ballard and wife Yvette, Mark Ballard, Bruce Ballard and wife Lisa, as well as Linda Ballard, Tony Winklemann, Theresa Ballard, Doris Ballard, Debbie Hall, Duane Bowen and wife Jena, Patty Hardy and husband Jody, and Debbie Bowen.
