We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2024, at the age of 76, Rita Jean Cassetty of Bellevue, Texas, born in Bowie, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rue Wells and Mary Lou Wells; her husband Gene Cassetty; her daughter Lynette Cassetty Erwin; and her sister-in-law Carroll Wells.

She is survived by: her son Bryon Cassetty (Michelle) of Bellevue; her son-in-law Bobby Erwin of Bellevue; her grandchildren, Brandt Cassetty of Bellevue, Devon Cassetty of Canyon, Cooper Erwin of Bellevue, Blakelyn Erwin of Bowie and Easton Erwin of Bellevue; her great grandchild Everleigh Penning; and her siblings, Tommy Wells of Hereford and Marla Davidson (Jay) of Decatur. She is also survived by numerous nieces and one nephew.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, MD Anderson Cancer Center or Bellevue Cemetery Ladies Auxiliary.
