It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Slaughter of Bellevue, Texas, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Slaughter and Oleta Slaughter (Presley); and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Calamaio (John) of Piedmont, OK, Dale Slaughter (Lanie James) of Monrovia, CA and Jimmy Slaughter of Oklahoma City, OK; his grandchildren, Jessie Chavez, Terrell Slaughter, April Slaughter, Taylor Slaughter and Sloan Slaughter-James; and his siblings, Billy Slaughter of Henrietta, TX, Francis Webb (Phillip) of Kingston, OK, Shirley Horn (Jacky) of Brownwood and Ellen Rice (Spencer) of Guthrie, OK.. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
