He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Perkins (Glazener); and his brother-in-law Fred Hill. He is survived by: his father Ernest Perkins of Bellevue; and his sisters, Kathy Ann Booles (Gary) of Venus and Karen Sue Hill of Nevada, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vashti Methodist Church at 9612 FM 174, Bellevue, TX 76228.
