He was predeceased by: his father Vernon Jenny; and his grandson Austin Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Haynes; his siblings, Vern Jenny and Kathryne Griffin; his stepchildren, Leah Haynes (Debbie Klasing), Trent and Michelle Haynes; and his granddaughter Mia Haynes.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Heroes Night Out.
