Ruth Ellen Lippman Schlanger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Ellen Lippman Schlanger of Bellaire, Texas, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Cohen Lippman and Morris Paul Lippman; her husband Louis Schlanger; and her granddaughter Emily Peterman. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth (Betsy); her son-in-law Henry Peterman; her son Bob Schlanger; her grandson Daniel Peterman of Austin; her cousins, Judy Palans of San Antonio and Lynn Zwern of Austin; and her caregiver Lillie Felton.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Emanu El Memorial Park (8341 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77074).
