She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Cacy and Herbert S. Turner; and her brother Herbert Lewis Turner. She is survived by: her wife Elizabeth Prather Adam; her children, Mary Elizabeth Granger (William), George David Adam, Cathleen Prather Eclarinal (Rommel), Laurie Gowen Adam and Blythe Elizabeth Adam; her sister-in-law Carmeleta Turner; her niece Teresa Gahm; and her nephews, Paul Turner and Tom Turner (Sandra).

A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home (4525 Bissonnet St, Bellaire, TX 77401).
