He was predeceased by: his parents, Mollie Kaplan and Louis Kaplan; his brother Marvin; and his sister-in-law Joan Kaplan. He is survived by: his children, Barbara, Bruce Eskowitz, Wendy, Andy Bernstein, Jeff and Teresa Kaplan; his grandchildren, Marshall, Jayme Eskowitz, Ashley, Neal Hoffman, Kevin, Betsy Eskowitz, Stacy Bernstein, Brian Bernstein and Rachel Kaplan; his great grandchildren, Elle, Hayley, Emma, Milo and Kacie; and his caregivers, Silvia Cordero, Susy Marin and Nelly Arcos.
