She was predeceased by: her parents, George Vasicek and Cecilia Lillie Vasicek; her husband Donald A. Gibson, Jr.; her siblings, Albin Vasicek, William Vasicek, Irene Schneider (Clif), Dorothy Moye (Glenn) and Anita Steely (Carroll); her brother-in-law Steve Przyborski; her nieces, Shirley Crowder and Margaret Cunnigham; and her nephew David Vasicek.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Gibson and Joan Gay (Landrum); her siblings, Elizabeth Przyborski, Julie Ann Kenjura (John), Emil Vasicek (Cecilia) and Daniel Vasicek (Jennifer); her sister-in-law Neely Vasicek; and her grandchildren, Chase Gay, Connor Gay and Sofia Gibson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Red Cross Society, one of Georgia's favorite charities, or a charity of your choice.
