We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2022, at the age of 99, Barbara C. McClintock of Bellaire, Texas, born in Seattle, Washington passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara C. McClintock to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband John H. McClintock. She is survived by: her children, John McClintock (Jack), Susan Peterson, Mary, David Wolters (Skip), Elizabeth McClintock (Rick Adams) and Margaret (Greg Slutz). She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Barbara had requested that in lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
