He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Vernon Scarberry and Beatrice Grizzle Buckholtz; his wife Carol Ann Frank; his sons, David Michael Scarberry, Douglas Allen Scarberry and Daniel Scarberry; his stepson James Earl Lockhart; his grandsons, Michael Anthony Scarberry and James Earl Lockhart II; and his sisters, Addie Berry, Katherine Martin and Bonnie Scarberry.
He is survived by: his stepfather Nolan Martin; his sons, Steven "Dwayne" Scarberry of Roseburg and Eric Nolan Scarberry of Beeville; his daughter-in-law Suzie Palmer of Kingsland; his grandchildren, William David "Bill" Scarberry, II (Brandi), Amie Holt (Michael), Stevie Couturier (Cameron), Nylah Scarberry and Nolan Scarberry; his great grandchildren, Kree Lockhart of Beeville, Keely Lockhart of Beeville, Shyanne Walker, Marcus Walker of Roseburg, Summer Finney of Fort Worth, Ayden Peavy of Fort Worth, Camden Peacy of Fort Worth, Cesily Peavy of Fort Worth, Austin Scarberry of Holly Ridge, NC and Isabella Scarberry of Holly Ridge, NC; his grandchild Lexus Maurer of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Ronnie Martin (Kathy) of Victoria, Barbara Joyce Williams of Venus, Darlene Martin of Beeville, Rose Martin of San Antonio, Pat, Joyce, Dennis and Richard Scarberry of California. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
