She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Bayer and Franziska Bayer (Brom); her sister Ann Bennefield; her daughter Martina M. Ortiz; and her grandchild Meredith McBryde.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Neal M. McBryde of Beeville; her stepson Neal Doak McBryde (Bernadette) of Houston; her son-in-law Richard Ortiz of Brownsville; her grandchild Marisa Ann Ortiz; and her great grandchildren, Connor, Maddox McBryde, Miranda Luz, Manuel, Janelle, Armani Ortiz and Ashley Koborssi.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. McBryde may be made to First United Methodist Church, 106 E. Cleveland St., Beeville, Texas 78102.
