Lara and Carmen Lara (Garza); his wife Ana Maria Lara of Beeville; his daughter Carmen Guadalupe Lara of Beeville; his stepchildren, Vanessa Mendez of Beeville and Alan Alberto Hernandez of Beeville; and his siblings, Lazaro Lara (Rosa) of Beeville, Ruben Lara (Rosa Maria) of Elmendorf, Arthur Lara (Sylvia) of Lynchburg, VA, Jesse Lara (Mary Kay) of Rochester, NY, Anita Salinas of Pearland and Maria Vandenberghe (Vincent) of Houston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
