Sam McCarty Workman II Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2023, at the age of 55, Sam McCarty Workman II of Beeville, Texas, born in Kingsville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Sam McCarty "Mack" Workman; his sister Kristen Elizabeth Workman; and his niece Raeann Elizabeth Duhon. He is survived by: his mother Katherine Ann Young of Beeville; and his sister Michele Workman of New Braunfels. He is also survived by cousins, aunts and uncles.
Kickstarted by a debut fourth place finish in the Bahamas, Alker and Sam battled together for the next three years, through the ups and downs of professional golf and the pandemic, when Steven turned 50 and was on the doorstep of the PGA Tour Champions.
