He was predeceased by: his father Balde Garibay; his son Ruben Garibay; and his siblings, Michael Garibay and Elizabeth Salazar. He is survived by: his mother Sophia Olivarez; his wife Melinda Courvier; his children, Jezelle Villanueva (Carlos), Kimberley Dominguez (Bocho), Tiffany Garibay, Stephanie Guerrero (Teo), Alison Munoz (Guillermo), Alejandro Courvier and Carlos Manuel Garibay; and his sisters, Cindy (Paco) and Rebecca Garibay. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
