She was predeceased by: her parents, Diego Contreras and Elvira Salinas; her husband Felix R. Lopez; her son Daniel Humada; her siblings, Arturo Contreras, Baltazar Contreras, Elisar Contreras, Gaspar Contreras, Esperanza Loya (Hopie), Natalia Lopez (Nellie), Eudalia Maldonado (Dee Dee) and Amelia Franco (Amy); her mother-in-law Sara R. Lopez; and her daughter-in-law Julia Humada.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Lopez Shumate of San Antonio, Rachel Garcia (Pepe) of George West, Texas, Felix Lopez (Lisa) of Beeville, Frank Humada Jr. (Victoria) of San Antonio, Joe Hector Humada of Orange Grove and Henry Humada of Farmington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
