He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Casarez and Anastacia Casarez (Rocha); his former wife Ofelia G. Casarez (Garcia); his sisters, Ercilia Yzaguirre, Felipa Perez and Adelmira Martinez; and his daughter Amelia Dakins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anita Martinez (Press), Cecelia Ozuna (Carlos), Estrella Lee (Timothy) and Diana Dunbar (Louis); his grandchildren, Benjamin Dakins, Sabrina Morrell and Crystal Ramsay; and his children, Carlos Ozuna Jr., Christoper Ozuna, Alcario Ozuna, Jennifer Ochoa, Juan Benavidez Jr., Tammy Arrant, Victoria Vergara, Marissa Aleman, Fernando Aleman Jr., Leticia Dunbar and Tyra McDade. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
