He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Lou Webb; and his grandchildren, Maria Lucia Martinez and John Dylan Dominguez. He is survived by: his wife Micaela M. Martinez of Beeville; his children, Roman Martinez, Jr. (Bernice), Freddy M. Martinez, Sr. (Andrea Arredondo), Sandra Martinez of Beeville, Rose Mary Gonzales (Faustino) of Beeville, Amanda Martinez of Beeville, Ann Marie Martinez (Jesus Ramirez) of Beeville, Veronica Ybarra (Cruz) of Beeville and Alexandra Marie Benavidez of Beeville; and his sisters, Sylvia Martinez of Yoakum, Amelia Syster of Yoakum and Ernestina Salazar of Yoakum. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
