He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hinojosa, and Consuelo Hinojosa, Sr.; and his brothers, Charlie, Robert, Rudy and Larry Hinojosa.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Garcia (Eric), Randy Hernandez (Tanya), Richard Hinojosa III and Laura Mechell (Earnie); his brother Roger Hinojosa; and his grandchildren, Alyra Hernandez, Kaleb Garcia, Natalie Hernandez, Alyvia Salinas, Kyleigh Garcia, Zoe Hernandez, Xabi Hinojosa, Kynslee Garcia, Tres Mechell, Rylan Hernandez, Tyler, Aiden and Presley Mechell. He is also survived by nephews along with a host of relatives and friends.
