He was predeceased by: his father Antonio Gomez; and his brother Ramiro Gomez. He is survived by: his mother Jane Suniga; his spouse San Juanita Gomez; his children, Ramiro Ray Gomez, Olevario Ray "Olie" Gomez, Marlene Gomez, Raymond Anthony Gomez of Beeville and Jerry Gomez of Temple; and his siblings, Martha Lucas of San Marcos, Joe Gomez, Maria Gomez, Anestacio Gomez, Monico Gomez of Beeville, Augustina Gomez (Tina), Marisela Camacho of Mississippi, Shadow Gomez and Antonia Gomez of Beeville. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
